Scholarship Program
A scholarships program which started at Coburg West Primary school in 2009 is expanding in 2025 to include other teachers and areas not directly associated with a school. It gives beginner students the opportunity to try violin, viola, cello and double bass, depending on the availability of teachers. It is a way for the students to try an instrument for a term for free to discover if it’s for them.
This program was set up by Marianne Rothschild as she is passionate about music education for those that may not have the opportunity otherwise. The low priced instrument rental help to fund the lessons.
If you are a teacher interested in this program, please email your interest to Marianne at violinmaz@gmail.com
